Fresh.

Well damn. It’s February?!

I wish I could explain where I’ve been, but 1) you probably don’t want to know that much about me, and 2) I’m still making sense of all that 2012’s already thrown my way.

So let’s clear the table–start fresh. Here are a few of my current obsessions:

    I’m currently obsessed with salads that have fresh basil woven in with the lettuce.

    Bet you thought I was going to say burgers 🙂

      Ha – I’m always obsessed with burgers 😉

      Strange as it may sound, I haven’t had many salads lately, but I’m always a fan of leafy greens, and of basil.

    Grapefruit fillets…our local trees are OVERBURDENED (to my delight). And the delicious combination of right-off-the-tree orange sections combined with olive oil, salt and pepper…kinda creates its own vinaigrette.

      sorry people…forgot a key ingredient in the olive oil/orange/salt/pepper thing…AVOCADO.

    I’m with ya on the whole “fresh fruits and veggies” obsession. My new obsessions (this week LOL) are purple carrots, nearly any kind of beets and those yummy little sun chokes BUT since it is February and the month of LOVE. I just snagged a recipe for Rose Water so that I can make a classy little champagne cocktail before our big night out on the 14th. Will post the recipe after I make sure it works 🙂
